
The magazine Automobilwoche asked the car platform MeinAuto.de, subsidiary of Mobility Holding, about the effects of the Corona crisis on online purchases.
Managing Director Marco Steinfatt explains that demand and orders at MeinAuto.de have remained more or less constant even during the lockdown. In fact, both would have actually increased.
Steinfatt also explains that there is a strong trend away from cash purchases and towards leasing. During the crisis, customers tended to demand mobility that could be used in the short term and planned flexibly.
